| Initially only Richard from our group signed up to go cross skiing with Mark. He changed his mind. Shauna and Sarah changed their minds too and decided to give it a try.
We all fell a few times. But it was great fun. |

After a couple of miles we learned to ski better. We went up and down some hills, and over some mostly frozen brooks. |

 We all took turns leading. When no one had been over the trail ahead of us it was easier to follow in Mark's tracks.
It was kind of misting and sleeting at the same time. We were away for almost two hours. |
