One Great Hour of Sharing Offering

First Baptist Church of Abington takes this offering in the Spring each year, typically in May.

The One Great Hour of Sharing Offering or OGHS gives Christians an opportunity to help provide assistance to people world wide in response to a crisis or great need.

This annual offering enables American Baptists to assist in disaster relief both in the United States and abroad.

One Great Hour of Sharing also helps to combat the problem of homelessness. An example is the support for the Good Samaritan project of Amos House in Rhode Island.
